Buzzing in the sun.....

19 April 2019

Due to family commitments and work I am finding it hard to finish one task before I start a new...

So with one of the first warm sunny days of the year I managed to get out on my bike for a few hours and take some photos.

All the wildflowers are looking lovely, (I will name them later) , through Menston village up on to a lovely little track which is part of the  "EBOR" way.

Lambs were sunning themselves in the fields, I also came across a little pond with ducklings,  Heron and a  Grey Wagtail. It was just beautiful.

I later rode up on to Burley Moor and sat looking over Otley while I had my biscuit and juice!
just what was needed.

At home I put my moth trap out for the first time and just got three moths , also wanted to record some of the wildflowers/ flowers growing in my garden.

Hope you enjoyed my day in photos....

  3. What a lovely bike ride - the lambs are so very cute - so glad you found time to get out and took so many super photos. Stunning picture of the Orange Tip it is so good to start seeing butterflies again :) I've not had my moth trap out yet - really must try this weekend. Have seen a few on kitchen and garage window though such as Many-plumed Moth and Emmelina monodactyla. Have a good Easter.
