Photos Scavenger Hunt

This is one project I really enjoy doing, I don't need much encouragement to get out there with my camera.
The list of word helps to look for things I might not have photographed.
Have a look over at Greenthumb and see what other people have snapped.

Thanks to Greenthumb of Made with Love for organising the hunt.

    2. Cant remember what camera you have Amanda, but for landscapes if you set the Aperture between f8 and f11 and turn the ISO down as low as you can like ISO100 then that should do the trick Your shots look pretty good anyway with the depth of field.

  4. What fantastic photos, in fact, quite spectacular! What beautiful views of your area. Snails, Nana's measuring tape, stripes, horse hair, and steps...just thoroughly enjoyed them all. Your boiled egg rolling did take me back however, when I lived in Cumbria as a child...I rolled my egg down a hill, it fell into a rabbit hole, and a rabbit popped out of another hole, right into a trap! Sorry to end on that note....but it's a memory that stuck with me as I was quite horrified, even with assurances from my mother that the farmer would save it.

  8. Hi Amanda I can tell that you love the challenge of looking for photographs for this meme. I loved them all but some stook out for me. Loved the close up of the babrbed wire with the hair, the angle you took the rocksteps, the tiles going into Hudson Bros and i never thought of the tape measure and I have one or two of these still!! Lastly great shot for crisp. You might also like to join the meme Scavenger Hunt Sunday were Ashley gives us 5 weekly words to find photographs for and they are suppposed to have been taken in the previous week but she let's you cheat!! Can you find next mmonth's word on this site? I cannot find them!

I did like the Rocks Stairs/Steps.

My favourite was the tape measure - my mum, used a very similar one - and I also have vague memories of my Gran using a very similar one to the one you've photographed too!

Hope April is a good month for you - enjoy the weekend

  19. Amanda, I really like your lovely pictures yet again. I didn't think it was easy this month. I particularly admire "Measure", it's not just the idea but the setting you created for the wonderful tape measure that adds so much, a fantastic picture. I also think the "Street Art" is clever, I would never think to use the differential focus that way and it works so well.

  21. Superb images and so professionally and creatively presented! I love your scavenger hunt photos, Amanda - there are always unusual angles, which appeal to my left-handed nature! The clouds are stunning in your top photo, and I love the frozen leaf skeleton and spider's web. I wonder how you did in the egg rolling this year ...
