  1. A selection of lovely photos, especially the bee! I still haven't seen a butterfly yet this year. As the Small Tortoiseshell was the final butterfly I saw last year (in November), I'm wondering if it will the be the first one I see this year, too.

    1. Thanks Wendy, had a look and it was The middle of April when I saw my first Butterfly last year, having said that it was much colder in 2013.

  2. Lovely photos and isn't it great that spring has arrived?! I've seen three species of butterfly (no Small Tortoiseshells yet) and just started seeing honey bees and there are loads of queen bumble bees looking for nest sites. And the sun is shining and the forecast is for dry...... long may it last!
