The sleepy park

Been back at work after the lovely summer has come as a bit of a shock...
Not much time for wandering.
So to day I made a point of going to the park, it was very quiet and still. Not much Bird song or the flutter of Butterflies, the trees are changing and everything is dying back.

The birds I did see were eating the berries

Wood Pigeon
There are now two Swans resting over at the pond, and the Mallards were pruning...just starting to change colour.

Young Mallard

Mute Swan
The trees were full of seeds and fruit..

There are still Blackberries to pick, this has been one of the best years......

Some of the leaves have started to turn, the park with burst into colour once more the cold sets in.
