THURSDAY

Walk up on the path just down from the Chevin,I have signed up to do a survey for Plantlife and this was my area to record all the wild flowers I saw in a 1km. We have recorded about 30 so far.

Another sunny day and my garden is looking ok after the late start this year.








SUNDAY

The garden was full of Sparrows this morning, there must have been 50+ young and old,they were sunning them self's in the tree and very buzzy on the feeder.Around 9.30 a Kestrel piled into the tree, but did not manage to catch one..then from no were Starlings came and chased it off.

Yeadon Banks
MONDAY

Had a walk up on to Yeadon Banks which is just at the back of my house.Came across Pied-wagtail and it's young.

 There are allot of Thistles up here looking forward to I.D them all.

Had a late walk at Eccup reservoir.

Can you see all the yellow pollen on this fly from the Buttercups at the park.

 On Wednesday around the pond there was Damselfly's every were,never seen as many they were all trying to breed or find a mate.There were two large Dragonfly, but unable to get a photo and a I.D moving to much.
